DoorDone may allow you to create and store information such as:

• Routine names
• Checklist item names
• Check history
• Manual confirmation timestamps
• Notes you choose to add
• Photo proof you choose to add
• Reminder times and notification preferences
• App settings

Examples include checklist items such as "Front door locked," "Stove off," "Garage closed," or "Car locked."

2. Local-First Storage

DoorDone is designed as a local-first app for v1. Routines, checklist items, notes, photo proof, reminders, and check history are intended to be stored locally on your device.

We do not require account creation in v1.

If future features such as cloud backup, login, sync, or account-based services are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

3. Photos and Media

If you choose to add photo proof, DoorDone may request access to your camera or photo library.

Photos are used only to help you save optional proof for your own checklist items. Photo proof is intended to remain stored locally on your device in v1.

You should avoid taking or saving photos that include sensitive personal information, private documents, other people, license plates, addresses, or anything you do not want stored on your device.

4. Notifications

DoorDone may request permission to send local notifications. Notifications are used to remind you to complete routines such as leaving home, bedtime, car checks, travel checks, or custom routines.

You can disable notifications in your device settings.

5. Ads

DoorDone may show ads in the free version of the app. If ads are enabled through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob, those services may collect or process data such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, or other information according to their own privacy policies.

Ads are not intended to appear during active check sessions, photo proof capture, or check receipt screens.

6. Analytics and Diagnostics

We may use analytics or crash reporting tools in the future to understand app performance, diagnose issues, and improve reliability. If such tools are added, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety form should be updated accordingly.

7. How Information Is Used

Information may be used to:

• Provide checklist routines
• Save manual confirmations
• Save check history
• Save notes and optional photo proof
• Send local reminders
• Improve app reliability
• Provide support
• Show ads if advertising is enabled
• Maintain safety, security, and app functionality

8. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

In v1, DoorDone is designed to store routine data locally on your device. We may share or process information only when needed for app functionality, handled by third-party SDKs such as ads, analytics, diagnostics, or app store services, required by law, needed to protect users, our rights, or the public, or when you choose to contact us or share information.

9. Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, delete individual entries inside the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

Support emails may be retained as long as needed to respond and maintain support records.

10. Data Deletion

DoorDone does not require account creation in v1.

You can delete routines, checklist items, notes, photo proof, and check history inside the app where deletion controls are available.

You can also uninstall the app or clear app storage to remove local data from your device, subject to your device operating system behavior.

11. Children's Privacy

DoorDone is intended for adults and general household use. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device.

13. International Users

If you use DoorDone outside your country of residence, information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
